This electric grinder is totally great! The motor works perfectly, and the pepper comes out perfectly. It's also easy to refill, and keep clean. For me the finger loop is especially handy. I ordered an electric grinder because of my worsening arthritis and hoped it would make cooking easier. Great news! It does! This pepper mill is so easy to use and so comfortable to hold that the fact it's beautiful too is just icing on the cake.

It's great to have a button-operated mill when one hand is covered in chicken goo. This one works well, but somewhat slowly; it needs refilling often. It is a more pinkish red than I expected, but it's still a nice color. Happy so far.

Purchased as a gift for my wife who loves to cook and has several dishes requiring significant amounts of fresh ground pepper. She is absolutely delighted with this grinder, saving her labor and allowing her to adjust the grind at the same time. A great item for anyone who uses pepper regularly - high quality and efficient at the same time. An amusing novelty for guest as well!

Just press the top button, and it grinds the peppercorns to your desired grind. The "wheel of regulation" on the bottom of the Zest pepper mill controls the grind from fine to coarse.
